The use of protective clothes will help you to ensure your safeness and the others. Always inspect the machine before start the operation. It will help you to know your machine and prevent unexpected failures. Check the conditions of the work area and be sure to fully understand what activity is required to perform.
Always warn others that you are operating the machine. Be always aware of obstacles and/or people around. Pay attention to the activity your are performing. Do not operate inside of closed spaces without ventilation y you are using a combustion machine. Remember the exhaust gases are toxic. Be sure the floor will support the machine weight. Ask if there are any underground elements that may be broken for the machine operation. Do not underestimate the distance until the near electrical wires. Check in the operator’s manual what’s the safe distance. Avoid to perform inappropriate activities with the machine others than the ones recommended in its operator’s and maintenance manual. Be sure to understand what are the machine capacities. Never jump from the machine while operation. Be sure it is in a safe park position and the respective locks are activated.
Park the machine on a flat surface and stop the engine for the inspecting, maintenance or repair. Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Check the operator’s and maintenance manual to check what’s the safe temperature. If you go below machine, be sure that it is well supported. Never trust in hydraulic cylinders or unstable supports. Oil, combustibles and other flammables shall be storage in cool and dry areas. Never smoke or light fire around it or the machine. Drain all the oils or liquids when the thanks should be removed.

Corrective Maintenance (Repair) It is a post-failure repair, which purpose is to fix a damage occurred to a machine that partially or completely impossibilities its normal operation.

Damages occurred by user’s negligence or other externals such as vandalism, weather, disasters or any kind of action or event non related to the normal operation of the machine according to the user’s manual. Use of the equipment for purposes which the it is not made for, maintenance and/or storage in impropriated way, different to the user’s manual indications. Damages caused by repairs or modifications made by others, including the user, non authorized by ICP. The use of additives, contaminated fuel, gases, oils, liquids and greases. The use of parts or components non approved by ICP. Consumable parts, lubricants, fluids, filters, bulbs, fuses and others. Normal wearing parts like tires, undercarriage parts, brakes, buckets hoses, belts, gaskets, wipers, bulbs, fuses, batteries and others. Expenses for oil analysis, machine transportation, rentals, costs due non operation of machine, crane, overtime wage, meals, lodge, and others related to machine failure and repair.
