Tadano Unveils the GTC-600-2 Telescopic Crawler and a Unified Lineup at CONEXPO 2026

Tadano arrived at CONEXPO 2026 in Las Vegas with a bigger portfolio than it has ever shown in North America, and one new crane at the center of it: the GTC-600-2 telescopic boom crawler.

The GTC-600-2

The GTC-600-2 is a 60 US ton telescopic boom crawler crane with a 113.8-foot main boom, a 28.9-foot extension, and a 49.9-foot jib. Tadano says it is the only 60-ton telescopic boom crawler that transports on a single truck, and it includes the OPTI-WIDTH track system and the ability to lift up to 4 degrees out of level with full pick and carry capability. For contractors who move a crane between sites every few weeks, the single-truck transport is the number that matters.

The Rest of the Stand

Alongside the crawler, Tadano showed the AC 5.250L-2 five-axle all-terrain crane with a 259.2-foot boom, the AC 6.300-1 all-terrain, the fully electric eGR-1000XLL-1 rough terrain crane, the GR-1600XL rough terrain, the GT-1200XL-2 truck crane, and the CC 24.400-1 lattice boom crawler.

The stand also reflected how much the company has grown through acquisition since the last CONEXPO. Following the purchases of Manitex International, Nagano Industries, and IHI's transport machinery business, Tadano now shows aerial work platforms (the AS-63HD boom lift, AL68 spider lift, and electric eAA-22C), PM series knuckle boom cranes, the fully electric Tadano 25EL pick and carry crane, and TC 650 and TC 500 boom trucks under one brand.

Parts and Support

Tadano paired the product news with service announcements: heyTADANO, an AI-powered assistant for round-the-clock customer support, expanded parts distribution infrastructure in the United States and Europe, and a Master Tech training program with smaller class sizes.

On the European side, the company held a topping-out ceremony on February 9, 2026 for its new spare parts centre in Lauf an der Pegnitz, Germany. The centre will stock roughly 30 percent more parts than the previous decentralised setup, enable same-day dispatch, and consolidate parts for all Tadano cranes into a single shipment. Completion is expected in the second half of 2026.

One Tadano

The brand harmonization Tadano calls "OneTadano" is now essentially complete. The Demag name was retired from the mobile crane line in 2021, and the former Demag AC all-terrain cranes, the Mantis telescopic crawlers, and the Japanese-built GR and GT series now share a single brand and control system. For owners of older Demag-badged AC cranes, the machines and parts are Tadano products today.
